Job Posting 1:
Social Media and Marketing Assistant (Volunteer, with Compensation)
Location: Remote, with occasional in-person meetings in Toronto
Role: As the Social Media and Marketing Assistant, you will assist with the development and execution of marketing strategies across various social media platforms to promote The Bansa Project. You will be responsible for content creation, brand promotion, customer engagement, and managing online campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- *Develop and manage content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- *Engage with the online community and respond to comments and messages
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness
- Track and analyze social media metrics to refine strategies
- Participate in bi-weekly 1 hour team meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- *Experience in graphic design or creative direction
- *Basic understanding of content creation and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Interest in working with a cultural brand
- Believes in, and upholds the vision, mission, and values of The Bansa Project
- Southeast Asian identifying and/ or descent (Preferred)
